How do I get rid of Nettle in my garden?

Hi i have stinging nettles in my garden .I also have 2 ducks so dont want anything that will harm them .They are growing fast in the garden so i need to get rid before they spread .please help.thanks

Near the root, pour very salty water, it will cause the root cells to shrivel and kill the plant.
Your ducks will not have a chance to be harmed as the salt water will be absorbed into the soil quickly. For fastest results (within a couple of days) use hot water and as much salt as you can dissolve in it. The width of the root system is usually the width of the branches of the plant, so near the stem and again in a circle around the widest part of the branching fronds. Repeat for 2-3 days and watch it shrivel!
