Boiling water and salt will kill anything. Be careful when using this because it will kill anything. First pour some boiling water on the weeds and then sprinkle with salt.Helpful Reply -

Make your own DIY herbicidal soap by mixing equal parts vinegar, salt and dish soap. Put the mixture in a spray bottle and apply it to your offending weeds. But be judicious. This concoction will kill whatever plants it touches, so be careful not to get your perennialsHelpful Reply -

Please don't use salt. Epsom salts may be okay, but not other salts. I just read an article about salt in our environment and it was shocking. One teaspoon of salt affects five gallons of ground water forever. There are some cities that actually have high salt levels in their drinking water because it is permanent and doesn't go away, ever.Helpful Reply -
