I think this question might need to be reviewed by the questioner? You could keep cars out of your garden by asking the drivers not to go there!

I think maybe she meant "cats" instead of cars. If it's a flower garden, you can put in lava rock (Walmart, Home Depot.) My neighbor had a problem with a neighborhood cat using her flower garden near her front porch as a potty. The smell was pretty bad. She put in mulch, which didn't help at all. Then she removed the mulch and put down lava rock which is very "rough" and cats won't step on it because it hurts their paws. It is also very pretty in a garden.

Did you mean "cats" instead of cars? If it is cats using it as a litter box it is because of the soft soil; you could try giving them their own space.

I'm guessing you means cats. In that case throw down some black pepper. Cats always smell before they dig and do thy're business. Once they get a nose full of pepper they won't come back.

PEPPER SPRAY DOG/CAT REPELLENT... This pepper spray really does work. I use it to keep the neighbors dogs out of my yard. Blend up some jalapenos and water and strain it. I then put it in a spray bottle or old soap bottle and spray around the perimeter of the yard.
