Best thing to do with ground ivy is to learn to love it. You could poison your entire yard then reseed but is it worth the cost?

creeping charlie isn't like ivy. I had an ivy that went up a tree and had to use a hand saw to cut it in half. Creeping charlie just creeps everywhere. I fight those suckers every year in my flower beds. You got to get the roots and of course the roots spread out from one creeping charlie plant.
