Set several tin pie plates throughout the garden areas. Poke hole in the bottom for drainage and put a few rocks in pan to keep wind from blowing them away. Also hang anything noisey like cow bell or stick windmills. Hoping the noise and reflections scare the rodents away. The tin pie pans are great placed under tomato plants. Deters white flies, spittle bugs, spiders... worked for me last year.
