It is winter here in Oklahoma City and my Bermuda grass lawn appears to be dormant. Thanks to the birds I have several green unwanted weeds that are thriving. If I spray my yard with the 2% strength Roundup will it kill the Bermuda grass ? Or should I go with 24D ?

Roundup can cause cancer. If careful you only get results when plant is in growth phase. If you get it on plants you want it will kill them too.

There is a Roundup that does not affect the grass and only kills the weeds. If they have the one that offers spray and foam application, I would go with that one. The foam is easier to target only where you want it so that you don't get it on the grass and only on the weed. I have had good success with this one not killing grass, just weeds. I have a neighbor that doesn't do anything with weeds, so I inherit a lot of dandelions, thistle and other weeds.

RoundUp is POISON! It should be removed from the market along with all of the copycat products. It causes a slow, horrific death to insects and tiny creatures that either get it on them or consumes it by eating something with RoundUp on it. There are many alternative products on the market to rid yourself of unwanted weeds without causing major damage to the environment. Please seek them out.

Kay said it well. Never use Roundup. You can use Ortho Weed B Gone, Qt 32 oz, Weed Killer for Northern and southern grasses
