Wood frame windows with wet dew from the outside cold turns into mold

we have wood frame windows, the ones in the bedrooms and bath have moisture in the winter mornings then lead to black mold. how can I get rid of the mold and prevent this from happening

Black mold is toxic so you may need to have a professional take care of it. Insulation took care of our problem with the mold -

The windows are not sealed properly and perhaps need to be replaced. For a temporary solution, you could cover with plastic (after you clean the mold) and caulk the edges of the windows. -

during those winter months lay along the sill socks fill with cat litter to absorb the moisture -

Mold seeps into the wood and can never be completely be removed. The wood needs replacing and you need exhaust fans and storm windows.
