A New Shady Spot by the Pond
We built a pond in our backyard a few years ago. We have a lovely maple tree near it that was just the perfect spot to sit, but there was a bit of a slope. We dug it out last weekend, added lots and lots of rocks, and now have a shady spot to sit while enjoying the sounds of the pond.
We now have a flat, shady spot to sit by the pond.
We built this pond four summers ago.
This is what we started with last weekend.
We dug out two truckloads of dirt and put in two truckloads of rocks.
We added more lattice and a step up to the pond.
We're ready for some hot weather!
