I've had these old cabinet windows and a few other old wood pain windows for quite a while that I found on the street. I had sold 10 or so not realizing I was going to have a garden soon…I'm glad I hung onto these.
I took these for windows and a few others I had at home and I brought to our garden plot and decided to make a small, raised greenhouse. Please note everything is from recycled wood and or found on the street with the exception of screws in a few antique hinges I bought at yard sales.
I found the 4 x 4 front legs already assembled in the dumpster at the garden... All I did was attache some 2x4s then I attached it to my homemade pallet fence I built(pictures later).
I may added lower shelving unit to the bottom of the greenhouse.
I added a vertical sliding wood pane window with hinges for the top.
I added the prop stick with antique hinges as well.
Then I added a window sash slide lock to prevent the prop stick crushing new buds.
I then added an antique door knob with a rope attached to an overhead board to prevent the top from slamming in case someone forgets to I then added an antique door knob with a rope attached to an overhead board to prevent the top from slamming in case someone forgets to post the prop stick correctly .
