  since my house is painted with sand fossil I wanted to paint my front door with an interesting color to complimeant it there are so many colors and shades I’m confused

Sand Fossil sounds like it's probably a nice neutral color that would go with anything, so I would say paint your front door your favorite color! Go bold and bright! My house is a dark beige, and I've had my door burgundy, I've had it black, and now it's dark green. I love to change it every couple of years. Have fun with color!!
