I need advice on how to repaint the steel door that stem in a silver m

I have a steel door that was finished in a metallic silver paint at the factory it's coming time to paint it again what kind of prep would I need to do? What kind of paint would I use to repaint?

It's a metal door so you have to treat it the way I did just like something else metal like a farm implement I went to TSC and bought 2 spray cans of tractor paint of the color that I wanted (red) and it turned out great and has held up like no other and that was over 10years now . -

As far as the prep goes just make sure it is cleaned first just not with soap it will leave a film. -

When I got my metal door they had primered painted it. All I had to do is paint with my colour wanted to finish. Primer I would use would be 1-2-3. -

Rustoleum makes paint for doors ! -

spray is your best bet. You don’t want to leave brush marks -

Use rustoleum. They have it for metal and have primer in it. Rustoleum for everything!! Clean the door first with like a fantastic or something like that. I use mr clean and water for pretty much everything. Just some in a bucket with water and a rag. Easy peasy!!
