My Little House

Hello Hometalk friends, I need your assistance in choosing a paint color for this house. There are multiple grey houses on the block and I wanted mine to pop with another color. I am also open to other suggestions about things to bring this property to life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Why not go with a crisp white and add some shutters, maybe in a pale blue and add a navy blue door or navy blue shutters and trim and a bright yellow door?
Hello. Have you reviewed the many replies in the other posts to this precise question? You can interact and discuss options and suggestions there. There is no need to keep posting the same question. Please consider looking back at all the replies you have received and see-if theres valuable and helpful suggestions to be found.
Ditto to Vimarhonor's reply. The suggestions for your color schemes are in those answers.
Consider the roof color, which looks green to me in this picture. I like the yellow. You could add shutters and paint the front door a contrasting color to make it pop.
Tan
Light green with hunter green accents.
I have given answers on your other two posts as well- seems the post keeps getting repeated
Apparently you are not getting inspiration from any of the answers you are getting, so it is perfectly fine to continue to ask.
Don't let anyone make you feel that you have to stop looking for it.
My advice...I also would paint it white and if you could spring for some cloth awnings on the two windows in black and with stripes. Then pop the door with you favorite color, my advice is a shade of green to tie in the roof. Fix up the railing in front and also paint it white. Tear out the shrubs because they look tired. Freshen up landscape and pathway. Bring in some green planters with flowers to make everything come together and WALLA, it can be a daring cottage.
White and navy blue would look great.
I am all about neutrals, so I'd say white or cream. The white color may go best with the gray roof, though. Then you can add color by painting your door and adding some shutters. This article may help: https://www.bobvila.com/slideshow/12-exterior-paint-colors-to-help-sell-your-house-47419
Hi Kim: When confronted with this question, I always suggest that the person take a picture of the house and make a bunch of copies. Then, colour, paint or use coloured pencils to colour the house in different colours to see which you like best. Not only is this fun, but it's easier than painting and deciding you hate the colour :) Ask your friends and family to help. Don't be surprised at the silly things they come up with :) I think a few shutters would look nice too.
Good luck
Go to website of one of the big paint companies, e.g. Behr (what I just used). They have a paint colorized feature and mock homes. While yours isn’t there, the single story bungalow will work, plus it has shutters. The site is hard to find, keep digging through “color”. Then you select the major color and they make combo suggestions. If you want white, then paint shutters another color and the front door a third. Their “white” isn’t as pure as I had hoped. Still it was good and I ended up with two different natural greens. Looked good. Other paint companies colors vary with the under color in their mixes. One may be slightly “grey” others may be slightly “gold”. This allows each company to have their own unique colors. So if you find something and go to the pain store, you may not end up with EXACTLY the same colors but you’ll be very very close. Beware, the site is so much fun, you’ll waste an hour or more. I did.
I would suggest a darker blue/gray color.
Trin down the bushes, add shutters, paint the trim and door, any color you like, it's a cure house.
Oyster Bay paint, and cedar shutters. !⋋✿ ⁰ o ⁰ ✿⋌
I think white with green shutters or you can paint it two different shades of green to match the shingles and one to stand out.
Your house is pretty. I would paint the trim and door a deep color (navy, emerald, aubergine?). to highlight the pretty lines of your house. I would also remove every other shrub. The big shrubs make the house look old.
