I just use a paper plate to mix up my paint and stucco dust. Get your favorite chalk paint to mix in.
I really don’t measure things, I just eye ball it or mix little by little to get the consistency I want for my project. With this one, I used about 4 parts paint to 1 part Stucco dust.
Mix it all together and add a bit more stucco dust or paint to your liking if needed.
After your mixture is to the desired consistency, take your paint brush and dip it in the mixture. I used the stipple technique to add high peeks and low spots for added dimension and texture.
dry brush some darker colors to add more details and dimensions. After your happy with your texture, just seal with a top coat or wax of that paint line.
You can’t mess it up! I love that old world texture, don’t you?!
