Another transformation, from plain to custom looking and added storage galore! How many pieces of furniture do you see?

BEFORE- Bookcase type entertainment center with Tube TV
ALMOST DONE...one more step to "customize it"
AFTER! SAME room, same wall where entertainment center was. Makes it look more spacious and open, so much more light came in!

Nice use of space. Reduced clutter and increased storage space at the same time. That's hard to do.

Nice job on hiding the wires for the TV. Overall, nice to see more while space than a big hunk of wood taking up the whole wall.

How clever, the marble is a wonderful idea, it looks great and protects the finish. The low profile makes the room look larger!! Great job!!!

I am sure IKEA will do this in their next line of furniture. I think this is a very clever idea as well. Love the colors and the texture, you'll did a good job!

Yamini, this particular piece, I searched all over ATL for just the right dimensions, we were looking to fit the entire length of the wall. So we found 2 clearance dressers at BOVA and they added up to the dimensions we needed so we butted them together and had two slabs of the granite cut from a remnant and voila we ended up with a the long piece but it can be split into two to use is we ever moved or wanted to use them in a different way.
