How do I paint a child's plastic table top?

Have discolorations and scratches on child's plastic table top. Can I repaint it?

Clean it well. Use Krylon Fusion spray paint. Made for painting plastic. Several light coats will get you a smooth finish.
Krlylon is the only spray paint that will adhere to plastic.
I believe that Valspar makes a traditional (non-spray) paint for plastics.
