Glaze is so tricky and takes practice to apply. Repaint it and then try a small brush or soft rag to apply the glaze, very sparingly at first, let dry and apply more if needed. You can sand in between too. I know that it is usually recommended not to use glaze with a flat base, and chalk paint is definitely flat.Helpful Reply -
