How-to Paint Perfect Stripes on Your Wall

I'm loving my new Perfect Painted Striped feature wall.
The key to the perfect stripe is to paint over the painter's tape with the base color before you add the stripe color.
Perfect Painted Stripes!
I love the stripes with the design of the curtains.
Use a level to make sure the stripes are straight and level.

I love your striped walls. I painted our ladies parlor walls in vertical stripes right after we moved in using this same technique. It makes for a perfect line. Mine were tone on tone using flat and semi gloss of the same color. They'd still be that way had I not fallen in love with my current drapes.

I did the vertical in my dining room in my old house. Wasn't as much work as I thought it would be but I was a bit younger then.
