Should I paint my interior windows black?

Hi everyone and happy new year!I'm a first time home owner and I just go the keys to my own apartment in Brooklyn. The unit has beautiful big windows and I was thinking of painting them black. Do you guys think black would look good? Also, does the sill needs to be painted too or leave that white?

Congratulations on your new home! That's wonderful. As for the windows, I would leave them white, but that's my personal preference. It's yours to do with what you want. I do think the white is a cleaner look. You can add any color you want by hanging some type of window covering.
Hello Charles, Only paint your windows black if you never intend to re-sell. Most people would prefer White window frames, and it could put them off buying the place...........
If you want black, paint them black..and the sill too. They would look odd otherwise. It's only paint. If you don't like it, you can redo it.

I think it would look fabulous, go for it !
If your design is going to be contemporary, then go black. It will look amazing. Also know as your decorate that not every project is going to turn out right the first time and that everyone has had projects go wrong. If you do something and don't like it, redo it. I painted my fireplace 3 times before I got it right. It was a pain to redo it, but now I love it and have been happy with it for several years.

I would paint white so the inside flows with the outside. Making the two areas seem one.
