How do you paint over chalk paint that has been waxed?
Hillela G. on May 31, 2017Yea, you should sand it down a bit first- have fun!Helpful Reply
Patricia on Jun 01, 2017If the wax is on thick you might try lightly sanding it first. But I've painted directly over waxed pieces with Chalk Paint without sanding first. If you're using latex then you'll want to sand it first and then apply a primer coat.Helpful Reply
