Try hot soapy water in a spray bottle. As the water soaks in the paint and paper should bubble up. Then you can peel or scrape it off. It’s a pain.Helpful Reply -

Removing the wallpaper is one thing. The other issue is repairing the drywall that will likely get at least partially damaged in the process of getting off all the mess.Helpful Reply -
