I enjoy chalk painting. Any ideas other than shelves and furniture ?

You can paint mason jars or other vases with it and then distress with sandpaper. You can paint lamps, candle holders, picture frames, mirror frames, cabinetry, terra cotta pots, old suitcases, baskets.....Helpful Reply -

what the previous person said was that you can paint anything. Recently saw basic clay flower pots painted with gray chalk paint to look like cement, then white paint randomly flicked on with a toothbrush. Very effective. And cheap. Those old brass candlesticks that no one wants any more can be painted white, then gray, then sanded for a great shabby look. Again looking like cement...Helpful Reply -
