What color should I paint my dresser?

I want to paint a dresser I was given, that I intend to use for storage- I just moved into an apartment, and the walls are brick. I was thinking
a green..but something classic. Any suggestions?

Green sounds nice, try using chalk paint. -

I have a French Provencial bedroom suite my parents gave me for my 16th birthday (50 yes ago!😉). I didn't want to get rid of it but wanted to update it some. I painted all pieces except the dresser a taupe with brown glaze. The dresser I painted a birds egg blue with the same coffee-colored glaze. New hardware & its beautiful! Love my 'new' vintage bedroom . Sorry I don't have a photo to share. -
