Painting pebbles for outside- what paint and varnish should I use?

I have some large pebbles which I want to decorate for outside. I want them to be weather proof. What paint and varnish should I use ??

I would say a outdoor acrylic will do the job. You can get some at your local craft store.Hope we get to see how they project comes outHelpful Reply -

Patio paint. It is acrylic and found in most Hobby stores. I applied two coats. I have clay pots that I painted 10 years ago and they are still beautiful. These are some "bug" rocks I painted recently.Helpful Reply -

Acrylic paint works, but in stead of varnish, use a clear coat spray finish. I use Krylon.Helpful Reply -
