How do I paint a plastered wall

I’ve primed them twice and still having trouble getting the paint to stick

Question - did you wash the walls first? What primer did you use? -

Was it fresh plaster, ad did you allow it to cure for a few weeks? What paint and primer are you using? Is there an issue with dampness or cold? Normally if you paint latex over oil it peels, but most primers oil-based or not, are meant to be painted over with latex or oil. Are you allowing the paint to dry or do you keep rolling over it, which removes the paint. -

If YOU are having trouble, check the base of your paint. Ask at a hardware store, for perhaps the folks before you, used a diff type of paint, and your paint and theirs do not work together. Best wishes, J.
