How do I paint over interior doors that are peeling?

Previous owners painted latex paint over oil based paint with no prep. Now my entire house is a peeling mess.

Hi Jo, start by sanding the mess off, outside if possible due to the dust created, buy a good primer for latex, prime then paint with latex, luckily it dries fairly fast
Dont you just want to kill them. Sand and chip off as much of the peeling paint , sand down edges and prime with Oil based primer and paint with oil based paint. If really bad you may have to peel all the latex off. Had to do that to a kitchen once, really sucks. So sorry.
You will have to sand off the old paint layers to get down to the door, unless you want to use oil based.
