Is it possible to paint over old bathroom tiles?

bathroom tiles looking old and ugly, to replace is one solution but just wondered if there is a way to paint it instead, not sure how , any help would be great

I’ve known people that has painted them, if you tell your paint store employees what your wanting to do they should be able to help you with the right products and methods. Also check out YouTube videos, just type in paint floor tile in the search box and you should find lots of info there too -

Rustoleum makes a specific paint just for tile and bathtubs that I hear works wonders! -

There are refinishing products you can do yourself and there are companies that will come in and do this for you. However, I have always been told that these processes last only a short time.There are times when you either have to "play into" a disgusting color, or you have to spend big bucks to change them.50s pink tiles? Paint the walls a soft white and put in a shower curtain that has pink in it.Go dramatic of make it Victorian!! You can do this, but it never lasts very long. Be sure to prime under the paint first, no matter what you do. Replacing the tile would be the best option.
