Ideally take the mirror down and then paint the wall.
If you don’t want to take it down, tape sides of the mirror with frog tape, dampen to seal, then remove after painting.
Tape up the mirror so you won’t get paint on it
i would take it down but it is glued to the whole wall I use want to cover it up. It is ugly.
