Hello Mel my name is MELody (aka MEL ;)I am having the same dilemma.... the floor in question is half of my garage which has been converted into a bonus room.In my research I have found that prepping the area first is crucial. I found some very informative videos https://youtu.be/HlD-a1rWqZU is the link it is extremely helpful and should answer some of your questions.I sincerely hope this helps especially since i have found that although painting/staining a concrete floor yourself is cheaper, more durable, and offers many more options it still is somewhat labor intensive and concrete paint is more expensive then other paints per gallon.Good Luck Mel!!!Best Regards,MelHelpful Reply -
