Harlequin Accent Living Room Wall

by Amy Rohde
(IC: homeowner)
With some simple measuring, I was able to create some interest on a boring living room wall. Note, I did not use my husband's difficult mathematical diagram.. I just used some common sense and a tape measure.
I actually had to paint it twice. My first attempt was a lovely subtle green paint that I thought would bring out the colors in the pillow and fabric trim. However when paired with the taupe color, the result looked like miami vice puked all over the wall so I toned it down with the shade that's there now.
