The foliage is silver coloured and it has small pink flowers.

I agree with Linda. Although this plant, Leucophyllum frutescens, is commonly called Texas sage, it is actually in a different family.

My daughter lived in Ok, now Texas,,,,, always looking for plants for the yard... is this invasive? It looks like a vine orjust a plant that has not been pinched back and gotten leggy..do pets like it or avoid it? thanks,,

It makes a large bush .I cut mine back a bit every now and then because my yard is small . It doesn't need much water but will bloom beautifully after a rain.

It is not invasive...it is a shrub. I have a row of them that are about 6 foot tall. My goats love for me to break off pieces for them to eat... so I'm guessing there are animal friendly. Some of the people in my area prune these shrubs for a more formal look but I like the "wild" look.

It looks like blue daze but it is not blue. Don't know if that is also in a pink. It also looks like the blooms on Texas sage. Our sage in Texas is more like a shrub than a low greating plant
