Glass Shower doors

I am seeking a set of 60" (59 1/2") shower doors, but I have came to the conclusion that the manufacturers and home depot have decided to make them out of some type of metal that came from outer space because of the high prices they want for them. The cheapest, name brand doors I have found are Koehler, but they are still over $600. It's ridiculous. We have put so much time and effort into the new bathroom, it would be a shame to just hang a curtain on it. Does anyone have a dealer that is cheaper? I find it hard to believe that they cost that much to make.

If you pay that much you should get a solid glass with no frame and it will fit even better than one with metal. If you have company come and measure it to fit with any out of square problems that you might have it will fit like glove. the cost can run from $400 to $800 depending on the type of shower you have but the cost is well worth it. That is the only kind I have installed on the many bathroom remodels I have done lately.

You get what you pay for. You need to go to a glass shop that makes doors as Saw Contractors suggested.

I work for a glass company in Texas.We go out and measure,and they are custom made to you opening.Call on you local glass company and ask for a estimate.Those are most times free.If you install yourself they should cost you around 350.00 for a sliding enclosure.Chrome is your cheapest priced as Oil rubbed Bronze and Brushed Nickel are a little bit higher.

we purchased and my husband installed solid glass doors with just small frame at HD for under $300, found online in their overstock section. they are great looking
