How to send a message on Hometalk

Can anyone tell how to send a message to someone on Hometalk? I liked to be able say a quick thank you or send a comment, without bothering everyone else.

Hey Phil, I found this in HomeTalk's help area: (Looks as if you need to leave that info behind on one's profile in order to contact someone) How can users contact me privately for a quote? Users have the ability to send you a private message through the site or to call you using the phone number displayed on your profile page. Additionally, when you show up in the professionals search, a 'contact' button will appear below your name and photo.

Thank you for your responses, but I do not see the menu for " Write a review, Send a message, or request a quote. Is this only for contractors?

Yes, currently only contractors (professionals) have the 'Send a Message' link by default. Members can only receive private messages if they change the settings on this page http://www.hometalk.com/my-account/notifications to allow private messages.

You can always just post a thank you for everyone else to see! But as Yair said, its only available to the contractors who have allowed these emails to be sent to them. :( Perhaps with a little nudging they will set something up so you can do this.
