i need to replace windows in my house in florida. hurricane windows are required. any suggestions on a brand?

Susan, check out this link, it will give you a listing of manufacturers and products that have been approved here in Florida as being impact resistant: http://www.floridabuilding.org/pr/pr_app_lst.aspx That assumes you are looking for double-hung windows. If not you can change the search parameter to what it is you want to have.
