Great card! Quotes are good things to add. One of my favorites is a paraphrased Mother Teresa: "It is not how much you do but how much love you put into the doing that matters." I think it speaks well for mothers. Whatever quote you add, I'd print it out on a separate sheet of paper, back it with maybe black card stock cut just a bit bigger with maybe decorative shears, then glue them straight onto your diagonal washi.
