slip covers for rectangular ottoman and love seat

Has anyone done slipcovers for ottomans and loveseats? Is there a tutorial out there? How to measure to make one from scratch? I sew quite a bit; but slipcovers elude me.

I made pattern with newspaper. Had already done the chair (1st ever project). The ottoman was a snap, even put in cording around the top & below to make like a border.
