Fill the holes with some wire (like chicken wire). Bend it to form about 4" long and round. Add some moss and potting soil and fill it with some type of vine that will hang from it. then when it gets longer, just run it around the tub..I love vines.

This may sound a bit weird to some folks, but I added a shower pipe and shower head to an old tub, hooked a garden hose to it from the backside and had an awesome sprinkler system for my plants!

The bathtub is very old and stained, tub paint is too toxic.
