Google "How to do concrete work yourself" online has plenty of instructional videos. Also Lowes and ThisOldHouse.com have instructional videos available.

What size is your wall. Mixing the concrete is on the bag. What isn't on the bag is to be sure and back fill the wall with gravel. Put drains in every so often and if it is longer then 30 feet stop and put in a stress point. If it is very tall there is filling the cinder blocks with more concrete and rebar and an angle back, so the wall is not straight up. Concrete on your hands can eat them since it contains a certain amount of lye for quick drying. Besure to wear gloves and rubber boots. Wash everything that you use off quickly with water or it will give you a whole new meaning to it's in concrete. If you just put dirt behind the wall even if it is two feet tall water will build up behind it and in winter it will move it.

I'm with Bev and John's suggestions. HD has in store classes, and Google will provide on line videos. I'd Google HGTV.com /concrete and see what comes up.
    Best of luck.
