Here is some information for you. My suggestion is that if you are not sure what you are doing hire someone who does or enlist the help of someone who has done this before. My husband is an electrician and he just shakes his head at SOME home wiring that he has encountered in his profession that is not done correctly and is a huge safety issue. For something like that I'd get an electrician. It's not impossible but I shy away from anything electrical. Otherwise this is a link to a vid explaining the process; and it also suggests watching a couple of other related vids.

No electrician needed very dangerous if it causes a fire your insurance will not pay if the electric was not done by a licensed electrician.
