How do I paint a peeling faux leather sectional couch?

I have a sectional that has all the faux leather peeling off. There's no removable cushions, so I'm wondering if there's any easier way rather than putting fabric on the top. Is there a way to paint it?

My daughter said couch is the same way, she went out and bought the designer tape, and put a work of art piece on her middle cushion and the corner of the sofa........now the kids show to their friends their moms art piece.

I think it's time to start looking for a replacement sofa. Sorry

If you’re unable to get a new sofa then I would get a slipcover to hold you over and chill you can get another sofa.

Or if you have nothing to loss try to remove/sand off all of the faux leather from the fabric then chaulk paint the fabric and then lightly sand the chalk paint when it dries.
