Here’s a polyshades link to look over the polyshades content and see if it’s a product that will meet your needs. It can be applied over existing existing poly finishes without any stripping or sanding. I find reviews and Q&A’s can often direct me towards the correct purchase. Hope this helps.
You can put new bottoms in the drawers using luan. If they are sticking, beeswax or soap rubbed on the sliding mechanism will help.
I don't know of anything else that would be a fix unless you are talking about re-finishing. In that case, you can paint by roughing with steel wool then clean with denatured alcohol, prime, and paint.

You don’t say what’s wrong with it if it’s loose going back and forth you need to secure the back with another piece of weed and nail it around all the edges that will help stableize it.
As others have said, without knowing specifically what's wrong we can only be general. However, you can patch gouges with wood filler, you can repair glides on drawer, you can even fix peeling veneer or laminate.
I have an old dresser the drawers no longer close all the way and are very wobbly. I would like to paint this piece but I don’t know how to fix the drawers to work ...
