is it real leather...or fake? Take a tiny thread or to.hold those with tweezers light a match to them if you get ash...it’s leather if it clumps up.it’s fake. You want to repair like with like. So if this is leather you will need rubber cement...and a thinner leather piece. Put the rubber cement on the thinner piece, get it to lay flat under the cut edges.make the cut edges meet. It should grip The glue under it....tape it in place for 24 h. Then remove tape.Helpful Reply -

Does anyone know how to repair seams on a leather office chair?
