How to repair an end table top which is cracked I half?
Naomie Moore aka baileyanddaisey, Castaic CA on Jul 02, 2018You can try wood glue and clamps.Helpful Reply
Sharon on Jul 02, 2018I would use Carpenter's glue on both halves, put them together and clamp so it drys with the two pieces closely together, wipe any excess glue off that comes out with a damp cloth. If you don't have clamps, use a couple belts, or painter's tape. Then you could also put a couple metal braces on the underside to support it.... or even add a couple pieces of wood across the crack.Helpful Reply
Cynthia H on Jul 02, 2018Evey, if it is wood, I would try wood glue between the halves, and using clamps or strips of cloth and tape to hold them together. Wipe up any glue that squeezes out before it dries. Give it plenty of time to dry. I like Gorilla wood glue. Make sure to get a glue that dries clear.Helpful Reply
