What is the remedy & treatment for a cracked leather suitcase?

My dad used to use something called neetsfoot oil on his leather saddle. I'm unsure if spelled correctly but it is basically a leather condItineraries. Would make something horrid look new.Helpful Reply -

Neatsfoot oil, mink oil, or saddle soap. Rub it in, let it absorb the leather, then buff/polish.Helpful Reply -

Saddlesoap first, then mink or neatsfoot oil to restore and preserve the whole suitcase. Used to work on cracked leather boots. Best wishes 😇Helpful Reply -
