How do I fix a split roof truss?

Support it first, jack it back up into place slowly so you don't do other damage. If the truss is not exposed, you can "sister" another board beside the broken one, nail or screw a 2X4 beside it, for as much of the length of it as you can. If it's exposed you might consider a bolt plate on both sides of the crack and bolts through them
