You'll need a preasure treated lumber the width of your steps below $10, several 1.5-2" deck screws, $2, remove old screw in the new, say with labor $25

Vpbulloc - Before you replace the step make sure you inspect the stringer for rot. Depending on the length of the step, your repair cost should be under $20.00. Use pressure treated wood!

If DIY, and depending on size, 10-20.00. By a licensed carpenter, usually just coming to the house can be $25.00 or more, plus labor and materials.
