Toilet seat is always coming loose. What can I do?

Every single toilet seat I have tried loosens up over a short period. I have purchased many different types of toilet seats, wooden, plastic, cushioned over a short period of time. Every one of them wont stay tight in the commode. I most recently had a plumber install a new seat on my toilet and now it is loose. The plumber said there is nothing wrong with the commode itself. I keep a pliers in the bathroom to constantly tighten the seat. The bolts attaching the seat loosen up and the seat shifts sideways and eventually break. Is there a remedy for this?

Loctite on the bolts , works for me -

Locking washers to hold the seat. -

wind some plumbers teflon tape around those plastic bolts before screwing on the nut below the seat.- See 1 previous

Coat the screws worth clear nail polish. -

With clear nail polish! ( Need my glasses lol.) This works well with most screws, I've found. -

I tighten it as Sharon suggests with screw driver and pliers. I do this regularly. Just normal maintenance while cleaning the toilet -
