After I give up on the plunger, I put a bucket under the trap and take it off. You can usually clear the drain this way. If this doesn't work, use a snake. Also, check to make sure the drain line from a disposal isn't clogged. By the way, take out everything from under the sink.Helpful Reply -

Put baking soda down both sink drains, about a quarter cup on the disposal side, and a half a cup on the other side. Pour vinegar, at least a half to 3/4 cup down disposal side and about a cup or a little more down the other side. Let this fizz for at least ten to fifteen minutes. Pour a gallon of water down the two sides, first the disposal side, then the other side, with more going down the second drain. All of this should take care of any greasy stuff to a certain point in the drain pipes. If the clog is too far down the drain, it will not take care of it and will need to be snaked to get it loose. Do this once in a while and the greasy stuff shouldn't cause a problem.Helpful Reply -
