Home Depot often has a remodel kit that changes out the trim only. I’m not sure if you have a plumbing issue, though.

  • You don't need to replace the wall. Why would you need to replace the wall???

the actual tub spout screws off. so do the knobs, you may need to undo a screw or 2. some have itty bitty screws, some use larger. i can't remember where on line i got the instructions on line...but wiki how or instructables will give you an idea, and directions do come with.

turn off the water for the tub supply. the access for that may be in the room, or in my case, the adjoining room. i have to take the cover off so heat can get to the pipes in winter.
