I moved into a mobile home in November of last year. I need help!! My toilet seat moves when I sit down, often pinching the backs of my legs. How do I tighten the screws?

Usually the top of the bolts on the back of the seat has a knotch for a phillips screw driver, then grab the nut underneath the toilet with some pliers, and turn the screwdriver..... righty tighty.

At the back of the seat is two flaps pull them up to expose two screws. Any thing like a butter knife will work or a screw driver will hold the screw in place You reach under the seat in the back under the bowl you will find two nuts one on each side. Simply hand tighten the not to the bolt as you hold the butter knife to keep the screw from turning. Hand tighten only they are plastic. Your seat will now be secured.

I agree with above comments. Make sure those screws are tight. If you're still having this issue, confirm that you have the right toilet seat made for the shape of your toilet. Some toilets are shaped oval, and some are round. So you should make sure your toilet seat is the right one for your toilet.
