Putting a back splash next to the stove.

I had this same situation and food would get splashed on the wall. A friend of mine installed a piece of plexiglass (just screwed into the wall) and that kept my wallpaper from getting ruined. It was easy to clean and you could still see the wallpaper!Helpful Reply -

A backsplash would be practical. You should take it around to the refrigerator though, not just the left wall for it to look right.Helpful Reply -

Most people leave it blank. Just as easy to wash as a back splash.Helpful Reply -

Love Kathy's suggestion! Mine was similar. I had a stove set up like that too at one time, we just used really good washable paint, but I believe some sort of back splash would make this area much easier to keep clean.Helpful Reply -

You can buy self adhesive wall treatmen. Cut it to size. Bring some of your personality to the space.Helpful Reply -

Years ago we did the same behind our stove and loved it, the Plexiglas was easy to clean and still showed the wall color. We couldn't decide on a back splash, and that was our compromise to make the wall cleanable.Helpful Reply -

Yes, definitely put it along side of the stove. Just remember to seal your backsplash after installing it. That makes it easier to keep clean.Helpful Reply- See 1 previous
